Our current topic focuses on the Life Cycle of a Star:
We will be doing a webquest, which is posted on Google Classroom.
For our review of 4th grade standards, which will be covered on our State Science test, I have asked all students to work with a partner to give two short, 5-10 minute lesson, on two different specific standards that they learned last year. They were all given the standard they will be doing and were also assigned a date to give this lesson. Their standards and dates are listed in Google Classroom under the assignment entitled 4th Grade Review Lesson Assignments AND Lesson DATES, for Ms. Muir's homeroom students and under 4th Grade Review Lesson Assignments AND Lesson DATE, for Mrs. Mesecher's homeroom students.
This assignment gives the students the flexibility to create a lesson based on however they feel will best teach the information to their fellow classmates. They may use a poster, a lab, a powerpoint, a video, a combination of these ideas, or any other method that they feel will achieve this goal.
